First Nations Training & Consulting Services (FNTCS) organized the 8th Annual National Aboriginal Women in Leadership Training Conference: “Building Leadership From Within”, held at the Plaza 500 Hotel, Vancouver BC from October 11 - 13, 2007.The Conference brought together Aboriginal women from across Canada for the past eight years to support and empower one another, to learn new skills to take back to their organizations and communities and to inspire them to continue in or seek leadership roles in their communities.
Aboriginal women from across the country participated in a variety of informative workshops and panels as presenters, facilitators and delegates - an uplifting experience for everyone.
There was a great banquet and evening of entertainment enjoyed by everyone who attended the conference. A spa was set up on-site so that the delegates could receive some pampering!
Be sure to attend this year as there are new and exciting changes for this year's conference, the theme is "Exploring Leadership For Unity".
